With a suitcase full of dreams<\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div>
\n
\n\t

\"Dream Spaces - walk with your feet on earth and your heart in heaven\" is the title of a solo exhibition I had in Cologne, Germany from November 2015 to February 2016. A central theme of my paintings has been women on their way. On their way towards a more authentic self. Women who follow their intuition, dreams and passions - even if the safety-oriented mind is doubting the way. Sometimes only the fear of not doing something is bigger than the fear of actually doing it. The protagonists in my paintings are following a calling that can no longer be ignored. In their suitcases memories and gratitude for what has been and shaped them, but no longer is. They are ready to let go of things, people, habits and parts of their identities that have reached an expiry date. They are following what lights them up in order to make the world a little bit brighter. Maybe only with baby steps. But even baby steps are movement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
